What's happening in Student Ministry...
Middle School
There has been a lot going on with our middle school students so far this semester. In our Wednesday night ministry, 78 Way, we started the semester with a series entitled, "In! Not of" The purpose of this series was to take topics like music, clothes, movies, TV, etc. and walk through the Bible to see what God says about those things. Our overall theme for the series was, "Anything that is not God can draw your heart away from God."
Throughout the entire year we have been making our way through the Gospel of Mark and looking at the life of Jesus. Each week we seek to answer three questions from the passage: 1) Identity: who is Jesus? 2)Mission: why did Jesus come? and 3)Call: How should I respond? In the last 3 weeks of March we will be in our "Got Questions?" series. For the past few weeks, the students have been submitting questions about any topic they want. There have been questions about dating, prayer, hell, heaven, what it really means to be a Christian, and much much more. I would appreciate your prayers as we try and tackle these questions.
Feel free to come and check out what we're doing on Wednesday nights at 78 Way. It would be great to have you!

High School
We are in our 3rd and final session of InsideOut, our Sunday night ministry for high school students. I'm really excited about the content for this session, "Identity: who you are shapes what you do." During each of the four Sunday nights in March we will be looking at a different identity that we are to be living out as Christians. Here are the four identities:
Family: we are children of God who relate with one another as family
Learner: we are disciples of Jesus who renew our minds by reading God's Word
Servant: we are servants of God who serve one anothe in love
Missionary: we are sent by God to reach out to others and restore this world with the gospel
